    For the last …
For the last several years China, on a large scale basis, has added toxins like melamine to wheat gluten that is “food grade” and was imported to the U.S.

That’s what killed thousands of pets in 2007 because “food grade” wheat gluten adulterated with melamine was added to pet food.

Wheat gluten has not been safe for years and I doubt that it is safe now.

Google “melamine wheat gluten” for more information.

    Most wheat gluten …
Most wheat gluten used in the U.S is IMPORTED! Not only that a large percentage of it comes from CHINA and then gets used in products labeled as manufactured in the U.S. even though the gluten is one of the primary ingredients and is from TOXIC China.

Melamine is also considered a binding agent because it’s very high in nitrogen. It’s even higher in nitrogen than protein. Melamine when added to wheat gluten raises the nitrogen levels and fools protein tests to think it’s high quality.
